Trips

Fall is a magnificent time in the mountains and wilderness.  Nights
are cool and days are comfortable and pleasant.  Insects are
generally not a problem. WMA can generally offer summer
activities for most of the month of September.  See the
SUMMER page and contact us for additional details.

Hunting

WMA offers a traditional western hunting experience, tailored
to small groups of hunters and concentrating on mature bull elk.
Our area is a limited draw area with outstanding trophy potential.
Hunting camp is a horse-pack camp located on the Sweetwater
River in the Bridger Wilderness. We use horses to access both
the camp and our hunting areas. Camp consists of a comfortable
wall-tent setup with sleeping tents and a main cook tent. Sleeping
tents accommodate two hunters per tent and each tent is
furnished with a lantern and wood stove. We have a full-time cook
in camp and all our guides are experienced and licensed by the
State Outfitter Board. We offer seven day hunts with a maximum
of 4 hunters in camp per hunt. The first and last day of hunting is
a half-day since we ride in and out on these days. Our standard
arrangement is two hunters per guide with private guides
available by request in advance. Our success rates average
around 80 % for both deer and elk. Custom and combination hunts
can be arranged. Please discuss with us in advance for scheduling
and rates.  All Wyoming Licenses are by lottery draw.  Hunts
require a $1000 deposit with the balance due before you go into
camp.  Deposits are fully refundable if you do not draw or we
will apply your deposit to the next year.
